Popmoney: HOW IT WORKS
Tell us who you want to pay and how much. They don't need to have an existing Popmoney account. If they're new, we'll get their bank account information. If they've used Popmoney before, they probably don't need to do anything. They money goes into their bank account in as little as 1 to 3 business days. To send money, sign into PHFCUOnline and look for Popmoney under the "BillPay" tab.
Tell us who you want to collect from and how much. They don't need to have an existing Popmoney account. They can pay your request with just a few clicks. We'll send a reminder if they forget. You'll get the money in your bank account and a notification that your request has been paid.
Receiving Money Once money has been sent, the recipient will receive an email or text message alerting them of the transfer. If they are a PHFCU member, they can sign into Account Access to retrieve the funds.
If they use another financial institution that also offers Popmoney, they can sign into their account and direct funds there.
If their financial institution doesn't offer Popmoney, they can simply enter their bank account information at popmoney.com, and the money will be sent directly to that account.
